Since February is a short month, it is no surprise that it’s coming to an end already. This means it’s time for another roundup of my monthly gems. I love sharing some of my favorite products with you! Without further adieu, let’s get started!

I love Japanese skincare products. I went to Japan a couple years ago and was so amazed by how many different skin products they had. That was when I learned about Cure, a water based exfoliator that contains extracts of rosemary, ginkgo, and aloe vera. I mix one pump with water and gently massage my face with it before washing it off. I love how it helps reveal a nice healthy layer of skin after I use it. I use this exfoliator once a week for the best results and what I really love about this is that it works well with sensitive skin.

Another great product that I’m a huge fan of is this mineral veil. I use the original sheer veil but it also comes in a tinted, hydrating, and illuminating version. This mineral veil is a loose finishing powder that helps set your foundation, reduces shine, and lasts all day. It is translucent and light weight, which is very important to me because I don’t like wearing heavy makeup and I want my skin to be able to breathe. If you don’t like loose powders, you can try the solid mineral version instead.

If you’ve checked out some of my old posts in my monthly gems series, then you know that I love Essie polishes! They come in so many pretty colors and my current favorite is Go Go Geisha, which is the perfect pink nude color for Spring! You can also browse their new Spring collection for some more pretty shades!

If you have oily eyelids like me then you NEED to try this eyelid primer! I’ve lost count of how many years I’ve been using it and I wouldn’t be using it for this long if it didn’t work wonders. I’ve been using it for so long that I have seen the packaging change back and forth between a tube with a wand and just a plain squeeze tube. (I have the old squeeze tube in my photo.) Despite the packaging changes, I like how the formula still works like magic. It helps my eye makeup stay put without creasing and lasts during the day as well as when I have a fun night out.

Last but not least, I’m so excited to share my new favorite hair products with you! I like to color and apply heat on my hair and it’s so important that I use the right products to keep it healthy. I’ve seen this Alterna shampoo and conditioner at stores and honestly, the price tag scared me away. I know you get what you pay for and I really wanted to try it out since I’ve read so many great things about it and I’m so happy that I did! This shampoo and conditioner set has completely changed the texture of my hair! It makes my hair so soft, shiny, and moisturized, which is very important when you color or use heat products. It is hands down the most amazing set I have ever tried and I love seeing my hair transform from being dry to healthy and shiny!
