A Fun Family Weekend in Vancouver, British Columbia

family weekend in vancouver

Mic check, mic check! Is this thing on?! Well, it’s been a while since I’ve updated my blog, hasn’t it?! I took a much needed break and I am so glad I did because I feel so refreshed and excited to be back! Although I’ve been away from my blog, I was still active on my social media accounts and some of you may have noticed that I recently took a trip to Vancouver, BC. I like how it’s within driving distance from Seattle. The last time we went, we were only there for a day trip. This time we decided to spend two nights there. I had a really great time and I wanted to share some photos with you!

What I love about Vancouver is that it is so beautiful. I love any city that is next to water. There’s just something about water that makes me feel so calm and peaceful. Maybe that’s why I love Seattle too!

Here is my photographer and his little helper. 😉 We tried to do a photoshoot to capture the gorgeous backdrop but our little guy just wasn’t having it. I guess he was just too excited to go inside the Telus World of Science. 🙂

I am so glad that we were able to go to the Telus World of Science because there are lots of hands-on displays that are fun for kids and adults! There were so many exhibits and unfortunately we weren’t able to see them all but it is a place that I’d like to check out again in the future.

I really enjoyed walking through downtown and admiring all of the amazing buildings. Vancouver has a beautiful mix of old and modern architecture. We spent our last day having lunch, shopping, and exploring the city. I like how Vancouver is so walkable- just make sure you have comfy shoes on! 🙂

Our hotel wasn’t too far away from Stanley Park but unfortunately we didn’t go there this time. Maybe we’ll be able to go there next time!

Vancouver is my favorite!! We try to make it there once a year and have a trip planned for March!! I’ll tell the hubs about the science center that might be a nice change to our usual routine there.
