Family Day at Swan’s Trail Pumpkin Patch

I absolutely love this time of year! It’s the season of pumpkin everything and I can’t get enough of it! This year is extra special because we get to share these special moments with Gabriel. We’ve been wanting to go the pumpkin patch all month but the weather hasn’t been that great. Luckily, we were able to go to Swan’s Trail before we were hit with more rain.

Swan’s Trail is a beautiful farm north of Seattle, next to the Snohomish River. Since it’s such a popular farm, finding parking was a little difficult but Gabriel couldn’t contain his excitement the second we hopped out of the car. Seeing his face light up with happiness is the best feeling in the world. We started our day with a nice little picnic and had corn on the cob, wings, fries, corn dog, and mini pies. Unfortunately I didn’t take any photos of our food since our hands were full and we were hungry! lol

Another thing I love about autumn is dressing up in fall colors and cozying up in a blanket scarf. The one that I’m wearing is under $15! I don’t think you can find a better deal anywhere else, which is why I grabbed some in a couple different colors.

Family time is so important to me and being able to share these moments with our son just makes it even better! If you’re in the Seattle area, make sure you check out Swan’s Trail. There are so many activities and it’s a fun place for the entire family!

I’m from Oregon, so I’m not familiar at all with the pumpkin patches up in the Seattle area. I’d love to get the excuse to explore farther north one of these years 🙂 Maybe when my own kiddos are a little older and more mobile and game for an adventure. It strikes me as a fun excuse for a road trip.
