Wow! Where did September go?! Time seems to be flying by so quickly and it is time to share my monthly gems with you again. I must admit that I’m quite a beauty junkie and although I like some high end products, there are some drugstore items that I also love. I honestly think some drugstore items are just as great (if not better) than the expensive stuff. Today I’m sharing with you some of my favorite inexpensive beauty products that work well for me and I hope you like them too! It’s the drugstore edition of my monthly gems! 🙂
Neutrogena wipes are a staple item for me because they effectively dissolve dirt and makeup, as well as waterproof mascara! I’ve used many different types of wipes and I don’t like using a separate product to wash off my mascara. These wipes does it all and makes you feel so clean and fresh afterwards!
If you read this monthly gems post, then you know that I absolutely love L’Oreal Voluminous Waterproof Mascara in carbon black. I don’t want to sound like a broken record, but it really is hands down one of the best mascara for volume AND length! It does wonders for my thin lashes. You really need to try this if you haven’t already!
What I like about the Rimmel London eye brow pencil is that it’s so easy to evenly fill in the gaps in my eye brows. My brows are very light so it’s necessary for me to draw them in. The brush really helps them look natural and even.
If you have oily skin like me, then this NYX pencil is the perfect eye liner for you! I’ve tried so many eye liners and they all seem to smudge after a while. Believe me, it’s no fun walking around with smeared eye liner! I’ve even tried a high end $20 one in the past and it still ended up smudging! I love how this liner stays put and lasts all day and you can’t beat this deal!
We all know that makeup brushes can be very expensive. ELF makes great quality brushes and the price is pretty much next to nothing! Some of the brushes that I own from their line are the blush, concealer, and the small angled brush.
Last but not least, one of my favorite hand lotions is by EOS. I really like how it comes in a sleek travel-size package that fits in your purse and easy to pack on the go. I have it in the scent berry blossom but I also like the cucumber one too!
I hope you enjoyed the drugstore edition of my monthly gems! Let me know if you have tried any of these products or if you have any recommendations for me. Have a lovely day!
