Hello there! It’s been a while, hasn’t it? Sorry for my absence from my blog. If you follow me on instagram, twitter, or snapchat then you may have noticed that I was out of town for the past week. We went on our first family trip to Toronto and had such an amazing time! I tried to get a blog post out before heading out of town but unfortunately that didn’t happen. I decided to make this a special edition coffee talk post and write a recap of our trip. I hope you enjoy!
Downtown Toronto is so beautiful! I love the buildings and architecture. I wish I could tell you what the name of this building was. I just quickly snapped a few photos of it as I was walking by since I love the architectural details.
The CN Tower is one of Toronto’s famous landmarks that stands out in the skyline. It reminds me of Seattle’s Space Needle with its stunning views of the city.
We took a family photo at the base of the tower. The line to get tickets was incredibly long! I recommend you buy a city pass to get a better deal and skip the ticket purchase line. Unfortunately, you still have to wait in line for the elevator to go up the tower. (My romper is old but you can find a similar one here.)
What a gorgeous view of the city from the CN Tower! My camera roll is full of sky view pictures- I had a hard time deciding which photos to post!
Doesn’t the Toronto skyline look amazing? I love how the CN Tower is standing so tall among all the other buildings.
We took a ferry to Centre Island and decided to capture a picture with the spectacular skyline in the background. I am so in love with this view!
We spent our last day at Ripley’s Aquarium, which happens to be Canada’s largest aquarium. Honestly, I was a little disappointed because I thought there would be a lot more to see. Unfortunately we had to rush through the exhibits since it was so crowded and we were in a hurry to head to the airport. I took a picture of this jellyfish. Isn’t it pretty?!
Here’s another family photo! It was taken at my husband’s cousin’s wedding, which is why we went to Toronto in the first place. The last time we went to Toronto was also for a wedding! (You can find the dress I wore here and lace-up flats here.)
Although we had a wonderful time, there is so much more that we wished we had time for. However, we made the most out of our time and this trip was extra special because it was Gabriel’s first time on an airplane. (BTW, he did really well and slept nearly the entire time on both flights!). Now that we’re back home, it’s time to go back to reality. This trip has helped spark some ideas for future blog posts so stay tuned for them! 🙂
