Favorite Monthly Gems

monthly gems

Today I am sharing some of my favorite monthly gems with you for the month of July. I know I’m a few days late posting this but it’s better late than never, right? I didn’t want to wait until August is over so here they are!

I have been using L’oreal Voluminous Mascara for years! It lengthens and adds volume to my lashes like no other. It is such great quality for a drugstore mascara and is much better than some of the expensive department store brands that I’ve tried. I like the waterproof version in carbon black for extra volume. 😉

Benefit Hoola Soft Bronzer is the perfect matte bronzer! I’m not a huge fan of shimmer or sparkle on my face. This bronzer adds the perfect touch of sun and I love the brush that comes with it because it makes it easier to sculpt and contour.

Origins Clear Improvement mask has done wonders for my skin! I have really oily skin in the summertime and this mask eliminates my oil and unclogs my pores, giving me a clear and smooth complexion.

I purchased my Kate Spade Newbury Lane Sally crossbody bag when there was a summer sale on the Kate Spade website. Unfortunately it sold out quickly! 🙁 However, I was able to find some similar bags that are still available here and here. What I love about crossbody bags is that they’re small enough to store your essentials and you don’t feel like you’re carrying a huge bag around. They also go well with so many different outfits!

Miracle by Lancome has become one of my favorite perfumes these past few years. I am very particular about my scents and do not like anything that’s too overpowering. The light floral scent is perfect for daytime or a night out and I really like how it makes me feel feminine and sophisticated.

Since I’m born and raised in Seattle, it goes without saying that I’m a coffee addict! I enjoy going to coffee shops to relax and get lost in a good book. However, let’s be honest, it’s not often that I get to spend time at a coffee shop when I’m so busy with a baby at home. I’ve been making good use out of my French press and recently discovered Illy coffee. This particular one says it’s for drip coffee but it works perfectly in a French press as well. I love how smooth their coffee tastes and can absolutely tell the difference when I switch off to a different brand.

Last but not least, if you’re wondering what I used to get the marble background for my photos then you can find it here. I wish I would say it was my kitchen counter but it’s actually a pastry cutting board. LOL! I love it so much and it works great as a background for photos!

Let me know if you have tried any of my monthly gems or if there are any products that you want me to check out! Have a great day!

I used to use Clear Improvement as well! It worked really well for me at first, and then for some reason it just stopped (it was probably my poor diet that messed everything up smh lol). Also, I always hear about Seattle’s coffee! Do you have a list/post of your favorite Seattle coffee spots?

I don’t have a post featuring my favorite coffee shops in Seattle but that’s a great idea for a future post!

The background is such a great prop for flat lay photos!
