5 Ways to Pamper Yourself At Home

Sometimes life can be a little hectic and we all deserve a break to pamper ourselves. Getting pampered doesn’t have to be expensive. You can spoil yourself in the comfort of your own home! Here are some ideas for you to treat yourself at home:

1. Take a warm bath.
Taking a warm bath not only helps soothe your aching muscles but it also helps you wind down at the end of a long day. Indulge in your favorite bubble bath product or drop some essential oils into the tub to peacefully relax your mind.

2. Soak your feet in warm water.
Don’t have time to take a bath? Fill a small plastic tub with bath salt and warm water so you can soak your feet in and give them a break after a busy day. Your feet will feel nice and smooth afterwards!

3. Give yourself a mani pedi.
There’s no reason to go to an expensive nail salon when you can give yourself the same treatment at home. Of course, it’s always nice to have someone give you a mani pedi but save yourself some money by doing it yourself!

4. Try a new face mask.
I love face masks! This charcoal mask from Origins works great on my oily skin. I also like trying different sheet masks, like this brightening mask from Boscia, or this clear skin mask from Tony Moly. Just lay in bed for 15 minutes and relax as the mask works its magic!

5. Give yourself a scalp massage.
One of my favorite things about going to a salon is when I get my hair shampooed and receive a scalp massage. Of course, this is something that you can do at home in the shower. When you are washing your hair, apply gentle pressure to your head and start massaging your scalp in a circular motion. Repeat for a couple minutes and you’ll feel really great!

Well, that wraps up my ideas on how to pamper myself at home. Tell me what you like to do to treat yourself!

I don’t know why, but face masks really do help me relax. Maybe because it kind of forces me to keep my face still.

Thanks for these suggestions. I definitely need them heading into another work week. 🙂

    Cheers,
    Emma
